- Eyeliner -
How is it done?
Eyeliners are done with a digital micropigmentation machine and a specific type of needle the artist chooses in order to achieve an effect.
I offer two types of eyeliners (Explained below):
Eyelash enhancement:
Eyelash enhancement is where the colour is placed in your lash line (where lashes grow) and gives you the illusion of thicker lashes as well as a more open eye due to the colour contrast.
This is the most subtle and natural enhancement and it’s great for all ages Styles and skin types.
Eyeliner:
A normal eyeliner is where the lash line is filled in as well as a line above the lash line, the line thickness varies from the effect you would like to achieve as well as personal preference. Eye liners are a great way to bring life and shape to your eyes.
Advice for your appointment
- Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment , the first session will last 2 to 2.5 hours and you will be laying down most of the time .
- If you are wearing makeup, bring your makeup to your appointment in case you need to re apply after the session ( not on eyelids ) your eye area will be wiped during the treatment to complete the liner.
- Your eye area might be swollen ( looks like you have had a good cry ) keep this in mind when making plans for the rest of the day.
- Ask questions xx
What can I expect at my eyeliner appointment?
For your eyeliner appointment please allow 2 hours out of your time, it is unlikely that your appointment will be a full 2 hours but I like to take my time to ensure everything is a hundred percent.
- When you arrive you will fill in a consultation form.
- After completion of the consultation form, some before pictures will be taken of your eyes.
- If you have decided on a lash enhancement there will be no need to pre-draw the liner, If you have decided on a liner I will pre-draw a line for you to approve before we start.
- Your eye area will be numbed for 20 minutes before we start, this is done with the topical anesthetic cream and your eyes will be closed for the duration of this time.
- After the numbing is removed I can begin to create your line, I will explain as I go along so you feel comfortable and communication is open.
- Throughout the session, I might ask you to sit up and adjust and improve symmetry.
- When the liner or enhancement is done, the after pictures will be taken.
- You will be given aftercare ointment and instructions to help your new liner heal well before your touch up appointment.
- At your 6 week touch up we will go back over the eyeliner to complete the process. Your line can also be made thicker if you should wish to do so.
- Your healed eyeliner should last you anywhere between 1 to 3 years.
Eyeliner After-Care
After-Care Instructions for Lip Blush.
For the first 10 days:
- Avoid cleansers, creams and make up
- Avoid sleeping on your face
- Avoid heavy sweating
For the next 4 weeks:
- No facials, botox, and chemical treatments
- Avoid sun tanning and sunbeds
- DO NOT rub or scratch the treated area, let the scabbing dry and exfoliate naturally. The pigment in the Epidermis will start to flake off looking like little stitch lines, blinking helps to exfoliate the skin around the eyelid area naturally and eliminate the little flakes.
- After the scabbing is complete a new layer of skin cells have grown over the pigment and it may appear that you have lost a lot or almost all of your color, as the skin naturally completes its shedding cycle, you will find the colour slowly starts to show through the skin as the skin has become translucent again and the colour is visible. It is not uncommon to lose color after the first application and as with all PMU procedures, a touch-up is always advised to ensure colorfastness and longevity.

Please notify me if you have had any previous work done and send me a picture of your brows without any make up on so I can assess , your brows need to be 50% faded for correction to be done. If your brows are still saturated with a lot of pigment or have unfavorable color saline or laser removal would be the best option to lift the old pigment and create new brows.
